NORTON MANX CONVERSION FOR YAMAHA 650
I built this bike and developed a complete conversion kit from it to transform a Yamaha 650 into a Norton Manx look-alike. This is a simple conversion, it can be completed without removing the engine from the frame or repainting the frame. If you want to do one of these, get a standard model with wire wheels made from 1974 to 1979. When you build yours, remove the stock rear fender-it'll look better. I have a build-it manual on this kit ($15). Note: the tank now has a regular cap, not the trick one shown. You can still order the following components;
- Manx tank w/ anti-ethanol coating-$395.00
- Manx tail piece/seat-$375.00
- Manx graphics for tank and side plate oval-$45.00
Omar/Tarrozzi Rear Sets for 650-$395.00
8" Bikini or 8-1/4" fairing
Period taillight -$59
Side mount taillight -$59
2 into 2 exhaust system with megaphones-$395 (silver 2-into-2)
Clubman bars
Tank pads -$29
Fork boots -$29
Swing arm bushing and tapered steering head bearings-$49 each
