Here's a brand new hood I created for guys doing vintage racing with Lynxs. It may fit Pumas and Panthers from the late 60s to 1973ish but I am not entirely sure about that. It would also make a perfect hood for guys with an "I-don't-give-a-poop-for-IFS-sleds, I'm-gonna-ride-my-leaf-spring-Cat" attitude for their everyday trail sleds. From the belt line down the hood is the stock shape so it fits in your bumper. Everything above the belt line is mine-a stream lined hood top with a slight crest line, wide mouth front and the 'hint' of a windshield. (This hood is not designed to accept a windshield). In the 'grill' opening to the left, you'll see a flat panel. This gives the large wide intake scoop strength and it's also a panel to mount a headlight. Give this hood serious consideration as opposed to those geeky looking factory race sled hood designs from the early 70s. Available in black gelcoat-made to order.
