Tod Beagle's Orange Street Tracker

Here is a perfect example of one handsome street tracker built with a drum rear-guy's, don't worry-it looks just fine! Tod said this about his 1976 XS650 Street Tracker build. "I started with a $200.00 dollar beater and took about 4 months to complete it. (that's unusually fast people) I used your fender/seat, fork guards, graphics, shocks and mile pipes. The project included all new electrical system, lights, turn signals, regulator, rectifier, etc. All the stock components were rebuilt or replaced, including; wheel bearings/seals, swing arm bronze bushings, tapered steering stem bearings, fork seals/oil etc. and on and on. All body work professionally painted in GM Hugger Orange. The frame was powder coated in Ultra Silver. Rims were hand polished and re-spoked, the hubs sand blasted and left natural. I used a custom braided front brake hose mating a new style master cylinder to an old style caliper (it worked great). The controls, bars, switches are all new. The engine was left alone with the exception of new cam chain guides, lapped valves, new clutch plates and other as needed parts. The carbs were rejetted with #30 pilots and 142.5 mains. It runs perfectly, starts easily with either button or kick starter. I could go on and on. All work except paint done by myself as a certified Kawasaki, Victory, Polaris technician and I've got to say this project was the most satisfying I've had in years. Thanks for all of your help and the excellence of your products, I can't wait for my next "Tracker" project! This one's truly a hoot to ride and gets attention from everyone. I parked it in our Kawasaki showroom and it got as much or more attention as our new bikes! Thanks again."
