Rick Kautz, Pennsylvania
1977 650 Street Tracker

Rick built this very clean project over the winter of 2003/2004. He sent the stock rims to East Coast Wheels in N.J. They anodized the rims black, re-spoked and trued the wheels. Rick used a Sportster headlight with an after market Sporty visor. He plated the swing arm and installed new brass bushings (wise). Rick installed dirt track handlebars (a must) and inserted new tapered steering bearing in the frame head. He used my street tracker tail for Standard 650s. He chose to use a stock tank but enhanced it with free standing "Street Tracker" graphics which I offer for stock tanks. Uni Filters and rejetted carbs added more HP. Rick did a marvelous job of cleaning and polishing the engine. He said "This is my first street bike and the last time I rode was over 20 years ago! don't ask me why I waited so long? I just don't know! This bike is a blast to ride!"
