Normally I put customer bikes in this gallery. This is a bit different. Dave Cheney purchased a TT fender from me for racing. Most racers know that race glass is thin for weight saving. The flip side is pieces all over the track when you crash. My stuff is thick and strong. Here's Dave's account. "At the Del Mar Vintage Shorttrack this year I fell in turn 3 in practice. Chris Apple on a TT 500 had no place - to go and ran right over the rear of my Triumph at about at the upper shock mount. He went over the fender just rear of the seat and smashed one of my new megaphones BUT the seat/fender only ended up with a crack on each side. Folks who witnessed the crash were amazed that the fiberglass just didn't explode when he ran over it. I put a little duct tape on the breaks and rode 3 more races to the end of the season and I plan to have it repaired. Great tough product! I'm building another racer this winter and YES I will be ordering glass from you". - Dave Cheney
