Reduced decibel exhaust system for Yamaha 500 singles

The PC police are coming and our only option is to adopt measures which placate the AMA and race track neighbors. Okay-here's the dB-trap from Omar. The reflected sound wave design decreases the noise from your SR/TT/XT engine to a level which will satisfy all but the most anal sound police-it's 100 dB. The aluminum silencing 'can' be removed. Requires welding on frame mount strut and header/megaphone joint to be custom fitted to you bike. Despite its huge size this system only weighs 9-1/2 lbs. It is 45" long.

Megaphone with aluminum sound trap sleeve
Frame strut - two unjoined pieces (weld)
Aluminum clamp block
Two jumbo hose clamps
Two header/megaphone springs
Can of high temp paint with ceramic formula
