CB/CL350/360/400/450/500/550/750 Hondas came with eye-to-clevis shocks. Those 25 year old Honda shocks have lost their poop. Here's a righteously priced replacement-NOS (new old stock) RedWings from the 70s. They are 13" long! Chrome springs are 60/90 progressive weight, 'bout right for up to a 180 lb rider. These shocks are rebuildable which is good. They also have a big beefy
1/2" stem and good quality components. Progressive wound springs which means the widely spaced coils suck up little to medium bumps and the tight coils handle the big bumps. I have sold hundreds of these Red Wings and not one has come back with a warranty problem. The supply is very limited-my warehouse could run out at any time. Note. I have noticed some (not all) shocks come with a tinge of rust on them around the clevis weld and the springs show paint wear from rubbing on card board carton. I can do little about this-sorry.
