The return of handlebar grips which help kill vibration. This grip style went out of fashion with the advent of smooth running 4 cylinder engines in the 80s. Well that's ducky but we are still running around on shaky twins. There is nothing worse than hands that go to sleep. When nobody is looking I have spun my arms around (one at a time of course) to fling the blood back to my finger tips. With these grips you won't look like a Dutch windmill driving down the street. The upright flutes on these black rubber grips act as shock absorbers and transmit less vibration to your hands. They are also superb for racing. The flutes and valleys allow extra contact friction under your glove in racing-This is particularly important on the ice with thicker gloves. Now I defy you to find any other grips on the market under 5 bucks anywhere (most are about $10.00). So...add these to your order. These are 4 5/8" long and have straight, not curved, bodies.Made for motorcycle bars with a twist grip, not ATVs. Small hole grip goes on left. Big hole grip goes on throttle side. Hint-close off the little hole at the grip end with a finger then spray a liberal amount of electrical contact cleaner in the big hole. Close the big end off with your thumb and shake like you are mixing a Daiquiri. Pour out excess and quickly insert grip on bar before the fluid dries (in seconds). The electrical contact cleaner acts as a temporary lubricant then evaporates-giving the grips solid bar contact. Limited supply-I was only able to buy 30 of these. | |
