STREET TRACKER SLIDEWAY BAR

Oh, it must be something like 26 years ago, I was using my all-time, most super favorite dirt track bars on my DMR. One day I crashed and bent them beyond repair. After a quarter century I still hadn't thrown them away because they were so special to me. Recently when I was running low on Slideway™ I bars, instead of reordering them, I decided to replicate my most favorite of all time bar. I did and I'm calling them Slideway™ II bars. Why are/were these bars so special and why do I think you will become a believer too?

Rise. Slideway I bars were 4". Slideway II are even lower at 3 1/2". This is even more comfortable position for the hands and better for new 450s with high steering heads due to long travel front suspensions. Many street bike riders have ordered my bars to replace their OEM bars purely for long distance comfort. You will want the Slideway IIs even more so for the same reason.

Pull back. Slideway I bars were 8". Slideway IIs are 9" and they are pure heaven. This pull-back allows a short track racer to keep his/her weight to the rear as dictated by the "new" school riding style. And they look so..."Flat Track".
